An autonomous R&D analyst for manufacturers. It monitors patent databases, research papers and news, and delivers weekly source-linked reports scoped to a single business line, each opening with an executive summary and prioritised action points. In production with two pilot customers, Fluidra and Girbau.

My role

  • Own end-to-end architecture across the REST API, the web application and the AI agent services.
  • Designed and built the agent and workflow system that does the work of a research analyst: searching patent databases, research papers and news, filtering and assessing what it finds, and writing the report.
  • Built the pipeline that converts a plain-language business-line description into a continuously monitored technology map.
  • Delivered the security architecture required by enterprise buyers: an isolated private Azure environment in the EU, dedicated Azure OpenAI deployments, zero data retention and domain-verified access control.

An AI-native SaaS platform that turned consulting methodology into software, sold as a system rather than as consulting hours. AI ran through every stage: problem definition, RFP and document generation, project classification, roadmap and estimation, and solution sourcing. Customers were Spanish industrial groups of 800 to 80,000 employees, including MONDRAGON, Elecnor, CAF, Talgo, Enagás, Copreci and Ramondin. The company was dissolved.

My role

  • Co-founded the company and owned the platform: the data model, the architecture and the AI systems built on them.
  • Built the AI layer the product ran on: a custom prompt management and request handling system, written in-house rather than on a framework, driving problem definition, document generation, project classification, roadmap estimation and solution sourcing.
  • Designed and delivered the innovation management platform that formed the first product.
  • Built the platform to enterprise security requirements: private EU Azure hosting, dedicated Azure OpenAI and department-level access control.

My role

  • Co-founded the studio with two colleagues following the insolvency of Boatim.
  • Owned architecture and engineering across all client projects, alongside co-founders leading product and infrastructure.
  • Built and maintained the reusable platform codebase covering authentication, user and organisation management, role-based access, back office and notifications.

A greenfield boat marketplace and social network, comprising a public marketplace, a private portal for manufacturers and dealers, and an administration back office. The product launched and ran for four years. It started as a Zentered engagement, and the engineering team was subsequently acquired and moved to Boatim full time. The company entered bankruptcy and was dissolved.

My role

  • Recruited and assembled the founding engineering team, and bootstrapped the project, before joining the company directly.
  • Led engineering delivery across the public marketplace, the manufacturer and dealer portal and the administration back office.
  • Promoted from Lead Developer to Tech Lead, leading a team of four to six engineers.

An early-stage Barcelona marketplace for professional chefs, who cooked restaurant-quality dishes in their own time while Trybe handled listings, photography and logistics. Customers ordered from individual chefs rather than from restaurants, and it came before the delivery platforms grew. The founders closed the company when the business did not find a market.

My role

  • Migrated the front end from AngularJS to React during a company pivot.

Lodgify

A pre-seed SaaS startup building booking and website software for vacation rental owners, with an existing .NET application that required rewriting as a single-page application. The first version of the SPA shipped as a partial rewrite, starting with the booking system.

My role

  • Hired as one of the first four engineers, relocating from Ukraine to Barcelona for the role.
  • Built the website-builder back office in React and webpack, including its CI/CD pipeline.
  • Selected and established the company React stack in 2015, covering routing, state management and styling, and put Redux into production within months of its first release.
  • Improved the maintainability and stability of the MVP codebase as the product moved towards scale.
  • Contributed to the migration from .NET to .NET Core and to Docker containers on Windows.
  • Interviewed and hired .NET and React engineers as the team grew from four to more than 25.
